Terms of participation - VISIONS 2023
The applicable rules for the containment of SARS-CoV-2 will be observed during the events and a corresponding protection concept will be implemented. The regulations of the Infection Protection Measures Ordinance and official requirements in force at the time of the event are applicable. By booking your participation, you agree to comply with the obligation to wear a mask and to keep your distance. Any marked walkways, distance markings and instructions from our staff must be followed.
If, due to the spread of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the authorities allow the events to take place on the planned date only under certain conditions or not at all or in parts, we will inform you in good time. If Quentic is prevented from fulfilling its contractual obligations for the aforementioned reasons, it shall not be deemed to be in breach of its obligations. Quentic is entitled, without compensation, to adjust the event in accordance with the applicable legal framework. If this is not possible for Quentic (e.g. because the event has been prohibited in its entirety) or if it is not reasonable for Quentic or for you, both the parties are entitled to cancel participation in the event free of charge.
Please do not come to the event if you feel ill, show signs of a cold, or have had contact with someone who is or may be ill with Covid19 in the last 14 days.
Cancellation by the participant:
After successful registration you will receive written confirmation. Cancellation is possible free of charge only until 18.08.2023. Please send an email to events@quentic.com.
Change of participants:
A colleague is welcome to take your place instead. The change is possible until 13.09.2023 via email (events@quentic.com), after that a change of participants is excluded.
Invoicing:
Invoicing will be stated in your name after the event has been held, unless otherwise stated.
Data protection:
Your data will be treated confidentially and processed based on the EU Data Protection Regulation only for the purpose of enabling you to participate in the event. For the registration of participants, we use Swoogo, a service of EventMobi GmbH. Swoogo is a tool that enables the digital management of participants.
EventMobi processes the following personal data:
- Salutation
- Name
- Company
- Official email address
The data is stored in Canada, that is considered a safe third country based on an adequacy decision under Article 45 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and in England.
Photography and Video:
Please note that photographs and videos will be taken at the event and the footage may be published online or in one of our publications. You have the possibility to object to the publication of your pictures in advance by sending an e-mail to events@quentic.com. Otherwise, please inform us of your objection at the start of the event on site. We will point this out to you again when you register on site. You can revoke your consent to publication at any time by sending an e-mail to the above address or by contacting our event team on site.
Exclusion regulation:
Consultants and service providers who are active in the EHSQ and ESG sector are excluded from participation. Quentic GmbH reserves the right to exclude unauthorized persons despite the registration for the event.
